Admission Scenario

Sri Padmavathi Mahila Visvavidyalayam offers the following courses.

General

1. Admissions to all the Programs offered by the University are open to women candidates only.
   
   
2. Admissions for M.C.A., M.B.A., B.Ed., LL.B. and B. Pharmacy will be based on ranks obtained in the state wide Common Entrance Tests conducted by various Universities as per the direction of A.P. State Government.
   
   
3. Admission into M.Sc. Biotechnology will be based on the ranks obtained in the SPMVVCET.
   
   
4. A candidate is entitled to pursue only one full time course at a time. However, they may pursue any part-time evening course offered by the University.
   
   
5. Admission to all the programs will be purely based on merit and the system of reservations to various categories. The candidate who has failed in the subject of choice is not eligible for admission in that subject.
   
   
6. Candidates seeking admission to Postgraduate and Postgraduate Diploma courses should have completed under-graduate course from a recognized University obtaining the minimum marks prescribed for the respective programs of study. However, in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and physically handicapped categories, a relaxation of 5% is made.
   
   
7. Suppression of factual information or furnishing false information in the application will result in the cancellation of admission at any time.
